As a recipient of Federal Title IV funds, Morgan Community College (MCC) is required to collect, publish and disseminate certain information to students, prospective students and employees. The college will also provide a printed copy of this information, including a full report of the institution’s graduation rate and the Annual Security Report if requested.
- ACCREDITATION. Morgan Community College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. MCC students regularly transfer credits to state colleges and universities within Colorado. Transfer information is available in Student Services or at your local MCC center.
- FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS & PRIVACY ACT (FERPA). MCC complies fully with FERPA, which is designed to protect the privacy of student educational records and to insure the rights of students to examine their records. - STUDENT RIGHT-TO-KNOW. - CAMPUS SECURITY POLICY and CAMPUS CRIME STATISTICS ACT. The Clery Act report is available on the MCC website (click here) or from MCC Student Services. A list of sexual offenders in the area can be obtained through your local Police /Sherriff’s Department. - VOTER REGISTRATION. MCC fully supports and advocates that students and staff register to vote. Voter Registration forms are available in the MCC Student Services Office, or on the Colorado Secretary of State website at www.elections.colorado.gov.
- FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION is available for students and prospective students on the web and in the Office of Financial Aid, or your local MCC center.
- DRUG & ALCOHOL PREVENTION INFORMATION and policies are available on the Website (click here) and in the MCC Student Service Office. MCC supports the efforts of local, state and federal governments in promoting a drug free America pursuant to Public Law 101.
- STUDENT GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE: The student Grievance Procedure is intended to allow students an opportunity to present an issue which they feel warrants action, including the right to secure educational benefits and services without regard to sex, race, age, national origin, or ancestry, creed, color, disability, veteran status, and sexual orientation, and have the issues considered in a prompt and equitable fashion. - STUDENT SEXUAL HARASSMENT: State Board Policy 3-120 provides that the Community College System shall not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, religion, veteran status, age, or disability. The Student Sexual Harassment complaint Procedure is intended to allow students an opportunity to present an issue which they feel warrants action with respect to the right to secure education benefits and services without regard to sex. - STUDENT COMPLAINT CONTACT INFORMATION. Students enrolled in distance education courses that have exhausted the MCC complaint process may file a complaint with MCC’s accrediting agency and/or with the appropriate state agency for handling complaints in the student's home state.
