Student Success Story
Megan Blatner
I graduated with an associate of art and an associate of science in the summer of 2007. Not only did Morgan Community College help me get ahead in my college education, but it also gave me a chance to accomplish two years of undergraduate studies at a minimal, if any, cost. MCC provided me with core classes taught by instructors that were there to help me whenever I needed it, as well as material that I could undertake while still finishing my high school diploma. Not only did MCC help me make a smooth transition from a small town into a big city college, but it also prepared me for what I am doing today.
Today I currently attend University of Colorado at Denver, and am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, as well as a minor in community health. I also currently work for the University of Colorado School of Medicine by conducting research for Down syndrome. My future plans include getting an MD/PhD in a medical specialty. After I get my degrees I plan to participate in an organization like Doctors without Borders and work in third world countries.
